Whether seasoned athlete, novice, or couch potato, the first annual Sunshine Sprint is an event designed for you! A warm up or practice before your big triathlon, fitness goal, or fun day in the sun. This sprint triathlon consists of a .25 mile swim in the Indian River Lagoon, a 9.5 mile bike ride from Sewall’s Point up Ocean Drive to Jensen Beach and back south to the starting point, and a 2 mile walk or run over the Intracoastal across the Ernest Lyons Bridge. Participate in all three legs yourself, or build a relay team of up to three athletes. Throw down the gauntlet to your family, co-workers, neighbors, enemies and earn bragging rights for the year.

The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, they are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
